The bike route along the young Danube is almost completely flat. The old bank paths have been mostly asphalted and are almost traffic-free, and as such, are a good choice for families.

Be astonished about old framework and cosmopolitan towns such as Ulm and Regensburg. Visit castles and try regional specialties. In the last years, the old ways along the Danube were prepared for cyclists. Most of the road are asphalt and offer a nearly continuous flat route.
Enjoy the old baroque houses in Straubing, visit the Benedictine monastery of Metten, famous for its library and baroque church and finish in the historic town of Passau.
