Germany's capital and Eastern region Berlin Lakes by Bike and Boat |
|
|
In the area around Berlin a unique lakes landscape is awaiting you! Beautiful lakes and waterways with a length of more than 6000 kilometres are typical for this region. You visit proud palaces and traditional cities as Oranienburg and Potsdam. Experience an attractive mix between nature and culture where you also cycle along the tracks of the past German east & west cultural relationship.
Route features
You cycle through slightly hilly landscapes, in parts also along forest tracks.
Vessel MS Mecklenburg
Even the spoiled guest will love the comfortable MS Mecklenburg. The sun-deck is partly covered and therefore offers protection from heat and rain. An alternative is the comfortable salon with large windows. The service, rendered by a well trained crew, the excellent cuisine and the spacious double-cabins, all facing outside, with en-suite shower/toilet for max. 22 guests are attractive features of this specialised river-cruise boat. One outstanding feature of MS Mecklenburg is her ability to also navigate narrow locks and low bridges. This ability makes her an ideal vessel for this tour.
