Berlin Wall Cycle Route
To mark the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, this new bike tour follows the route of the Wall through the heart of Berlin and along the former “No Man’s Land” that existed between West Berlin and East Germany. Although the tour starts and ends in Berlin, the tour is surprisingly rural and travels through quiet countryside and wooded nature reserves, along idyllic lakes and rivers, through farming villages and medieval towns, and by medieval castles and baroque palaces. For many cyclists, the highlight will be Potsdam, one of Germany's hidden gems. |

Danube Bike Path - Guided (English language)

This classic cycle path starts in Passau, the “City of Three Rivers”: The German Danube is joined here by the Inn and the Ilz River. On former towpaths through the timbered Danube valley and beside vineyards and orchards, the cycle route leads us to the charming capital of Austria, Vienna. Dresden-Prague-Vienna-Budapest
Prague, Vienna and Budapest are the most important centres of the former Habsburg Danube Monarchy. Most of the pompous buildings of those days survived the two World Wars. And this is not the only reason why these three cities are among Europe’s most attractive tourist destinations. Our tour connects these famous cities. We start the tour in Dresden, a very nice and old city indeed. The rivers Elbe, Vltava and Danube accompany us on the way to Budapest, as do the low mountain range of the Saxon and Bohemia, Kokorinško and the “Boehmerwald” (Bohemian forest). |

Elbe River and Saxon Switzerland
The Elbe river cycle path follows the river from the mountainous area of Saxon Switzerland (at the Czech border) to the city center of Dresden with its famous skyline. Behind Dresden, the vineyards of Radebeul appear. This town, near the Saxon capital, is characterized by an almost Mediterranean atmosphere. The next stop is Meissen, the historical cradle of Saxony. The famous Meissen Porcelain Factory presents masterpieces in "white gold" from past and present. Other well-known places along the route are Torgau, where the American and Russian armies met after World War II, Wittenberg, the place where Luther's reformation began and Dessau, famous for its "Bauhaus" style of architecture. |

Mozart Bike Path
Beggining from his birth town Salzburg, we visit many places where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart made stops during his journeys. The route leads us across Chiemsee to the Inn valley. From there we cycle through the Northern Tyrol and the so called "small German corner" back to the Mozart town. The route leads us partly through level, but also through hilly terrain. Between the Inn valley and the town of Salzburg we have to master a few gradients, but we can also enjoy nice descents. Most of the time we ride on bike paths and on side streets with not much traffic, most of which are asphalted. A few short sections (max. 1-2 km) have to be cycled on streets with moderate traffic. |

Münsterland, a Bicyclist's Paradise
Münsterland is a bicyclist's dream. As you ride through beautiful villages, pastures, and meadows, you will have the chance to see castles, palaces and former courts. The routes are mostly flat, well-paved bike trails- the so-called "Pättkes" that are typical of Münsterland. In Münster itself, bicycling is the best way to go. There are no hills, directional signs are clearly marked, bike paths and lanes are clearly delineated, and the bicycle is clearly king: Bikes are allowed to pull closer to intersections and get an advance green light, in order to clear the intersection faster and safely. |
