Home of Forests and Lakes Masurian Lake District (8-night) |
|
|
Masuria – that is the country of 3000 lakes and millions of white storks. Huge native forests and nature parks, wide heather plains and wonderful clean rivers and crystal clear lakes are part of the scenery, as are century-old avenues. On the bicycle tour and during the extensive program with boating, canoeing and many sightseeing tours you discover a country young at heart and the hospitality of the people living here. Be impressed by the unusually rich varieties of flora and fauna. Summer meadows gleaming in all possible colours catch your attention as well as the many bird species, first of all of course the “heraldic bird of Masuria”, the white stork.
