On our South Dalmatia Plus Tour, explore the unique islands and coast of South Dalmatia, accompanied by the new deluxe boat Princeza Diana that was launched only in 2011. The islands of Brac, Solta, Vis, Hvar and Korcula as well as some worth-seeing parts of the Croatian mainland are combined to an unforgettable cruise. Enjoy a wine or honey tasting just as a meal in a typical Dalmatian Konoba instead of a lunch on board of the ship. Visit an old township, the wine growing peninsula of Peljesac and to the south of the peninsula the island of Mljet, with its impressive national park.
The itinerary of the trip is in some ways parallel to the itinerary of our regular cycling cruise in South Dalmatia – the Plus-Tour therefore could be a good alternative in case of an already fully booked regular cycling cruise at your preferred travel date. This tour is part of the Islandhopping Plus-Program, consisting of three different tours which are characterized by especially for these trips built spacious and luxurious deluxe boats.
On all Plus-Tours, e-bikes of the Swiss high quality brand FLYER are offered. Electric bikes are a true declaration of independence for everybody who enjoys activity. They allow a hassle-free cycling as well as climbing mountains without difficulty. But all cycle tours are planned in a way that enables a cyclist who wants to ride a trekking bike and also want to spend their vacation on one of the deluxe boats to join the bike rides trouble-free if they have a basic level of fitness.

Day 1: Trogir – Split
Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 3 mi./ 5 km away from the harbour of Trogir. After the check-in on the motor yacht (from 2 pm) we leave Trogir around 3 to 4 pm. There is enough time for taking a refreshing bath in the sea. A short cruise takes you to Split. In the evening a tour guide leads us through the world cultural heritage old town of Split with its famous palace of the Roman emperor Diocletian.
Day 2: Cetina Canyon and Hvar (15 or 27miles/25 or 45 km)
During breakfast we cross over to Omis, an old pirate stronghold on the Croatian mainland. During the morning we explore the valley of the Cetina River which has been deeply etched into the rock. On minor roads and through varied landscapes we return to Omis. Optionally there is the opportunity to participate in a two hours rafting tour on the river Cetina (not included into the tour price). From Omis we set out to Jelsa on the island of Hvar.
Day 3: Islands of Hvar and Korčula (15 or 27 miles/25 or 45 km)
Vis is the most remote island from the Croatian mainland. More than 2,300 years ago it was a Greek colony named Issa. Due to its strategic favorable location, Vis was a military area until 1995 and not accessible for tourists. On today's cycle tour we can enjoy the lovely island. Later on the boat takes us to the island of KorcÂÂula where we spend the night either in a quiet harbour or an idyllic bay.
Day 4: Islands of Korcula (29 miles/48 km)
Korčula town is the starting point of today’s cycle tour across the island. The beautiful Dalmatian island is characterized by its quiet atmosphere. Our route takes us to the small port of Prigradica where our boat awaits us for lunch. After a longer crossing in the afternoon we reach the island of Vis.
Day 5: Islands of Vis and Hvar (19 miles/32 km)
Vis is the farthest located island from the Croatian mainland. 2.300 years ago there was already a Greek colony called Issa on this island. Due to its strategic location it was a military zone until 1995 and prohibited for foreign tourists. Today we have the opportunity to explore the lovely island by bicycle. Lunch is taken at a local wine farm. Afterwards the boat cruises to Hvar where we visit the magnificent Renaissance square and enjoy the view from the Spanish Fortress which is situated high above the city.
Day 6: Island Hvar and Island Brač (21 miles/35 km)
In the morning we cycle along a 400 m high pass road, next to lavender fields and wonderful views of the neighbouring islands and the mainland. First destination is the artist colony town of Stari Grad. The town was founded as a Greek colony of Faros. After a short town visit we continue to cycle to Jelsa. Here we board the boat and cruise to a well known beach to take a long swim break. The Golden Horn is a white pebble beach- depending on the wind its tip directs to either right or left side. The beach is published in almost every Croatian tourist magazine.
Day 7: Šolta – Trogir (11 miles/19 km)
After a short crossing to Stomorska on the island of Solta we depart for the last bicycle tour. Walled fields, numerous olive groves, carob and fig trees line the road. The spicy smell of lavender and rosemary accompany us during our tour around the island. In Maslinica we load the bikes and enjoy the last crossing back to Trogir. In Trogir we have enough time to visit the old city- a World Heritage Site. Traditionally the last evening before disembarkation is spent cheerfully with guests, crew and guides.
Day 8: Disembarkation at Trogir
After breakfast disembarkation until 9 a.m. and individual trip home or extended stay in Croatia.
Changes
We reserve the right to make changes to the planned route due to changing wind and weather conditions, and where required by organizational necessities.

Princeza Diana
(May 4, 18; Jun 1, 15, 29; Oct 5, 2013)
The Princeza Diana is a 3-mast premium class motor yacht to be launched in summer 2011. The ship will especially adapt to the needs of E-bike cruises but will operate the first tours on the Multi-Adventure cruise in the Kvarner Bay.
Despite the functionality the Princess Diana will be a luxury and convenient steal ship with 17 guest cabins equipped with shower and toilet. A big saloon as well as a canopied quarterdeck with suite will be situated on the top deck. It will offer enough space for a cozy round during meals (inside or outside). The cabins, the saloon and the outside area will be furnished nicely. On the wide sundeck chairs and mats for relaxation will be provided. The platform at the stern will offer a comfortable way to get into the sea.
Harmonia
(Apr 27; May 11, 25; Jun 8, 22; Aug 31; Sept 14, 28; Oct 12, 2013)
The Harmonia is the second boat of the family Scherka that enriches our Islandhopping fleet for the season 2013. With a length of 38 m boat and 17 luxurious furnished guest cabins with a size of 40-46 sq ft. (12-14 qm) including tiled bathrooms with shower cabins/toilet, the 2 masted boat is meeting also the highest expectation. A special room offers the possibility to store and recharge our electric bicycles for the PLUS tours. The saloon and numerous sun mats and beds are at the guest’s disposal. We already look forward to the warm-hearted service of the family Scherka who satisfy all wishes.
Catering on board
The cook on board is a member of the crew and prepares the breakfast and two warm meals a day. The catering starts with lunch on arrival day and ends with breakfast at disembarkation day. Instead the lunch aboard there can be a visit in a Konoba or a picnic on shore.

The bikes available on this tour are 21-speed hybrid touring or a electrically assisted bike with 8-gear-hub-shifting, FLYER brand. Both bikes are equipped with an Ortlieb saddle bag.
The bikes available on this tour are 21-speed hybrid touring or a electrically assisted bike with 8-gear-hub-shifting, FLYER brand. Both bikes are equipped with an Ortlieb saddle bag.
The bike tours require a basic level of fitness from participants, which they should have acquired from steady cycling.
The tours will take us up to a height of between 650 and 1,300 ft. above sea-level. The day-tours from 12 to 27 mi. will take us through hilly and mountainous terrain and will be completed without any time constraints.
Participants will also need to master long and steep climbs, which should not be a problem with the help of the E-Bikes. The streets are mostly asphalted and less traffic occurs during the off seasons. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend on board the boat, instead of taking a planned bike tour. We will traverse mostly asphalted roads, which are rarely traveled on outside the holiday seasons. Each day you can either decide to bike alone, using the information and maps provided, or join the two tour guides or other participants.
Helmet use is mandatory on all cycle tours. Helmets are available on board in limited number (on request).
We generally believe that only children with a lot of cycling experience and in a good physical condition aged 10 years and older are able to master the bike tours with their own. Furthermore, we offer bicycle rental only for people of 5 ft. height or more. For smaller children, bicycle seats are limited available (reservation required).
This tour is rated Moderate and is for cyclists in good physical condition.

A rich, cultural history and diverse, majestic landscape describes the country of Croatia. Calling their country “Our Beautiful Homeland”, the Croats offer a warm welcome to visitors who want to experience the wonders of Croatia. Flat plains along the Hungarian border, low mountains and highlands near the Adriatic coastline and over 1,000 islands explain why Croatia is one of few nations to have three distinct climate zones.
Diversity continues in the Croatian culture with four cultural circles thriving together: Western, Eastern and Central Europe, and Mediterranean. Each culture retains its unique customs, including lace-making in Lepoglava, bell ringers in the Kasta region and Ojkanje singing in the Dalmatia region. Cuisine varies in the coastal region that favors seafood specialties, olive oil and prosciutto compared to the continental region that favors meat products, freshwater fish and vegetables. Other highlights include Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace in Split, a Roman amphitheatre in Pula and the city of Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic."

These terms and conditions, which you agree to by booking your trip, govern the contractual relationship between you as traveler and us as tour operator. The terms and conditions supplement Paragraph 651 and those following in the German BGB (Buergerliches Gesetzbuch) that govern travel contract law. Please read all the following terms and conditions carefully.Trip CancellationIf the minimum number of participants required for a trip is not met (18 participants for bus and boat trips, unless otherwise noted), we reserve the right to cancel it. The decision about whether the trip will take place or not will be made as early as possible, three weeks before the beginning of the trip at the latest. In case of trip cancellation, all payments you have made will be fully refunded. There can be no additional claims made against us. As the tour operator, we have the right to cancel the tour if the trip is jeopardized, made difficult, or impaired due to an act of God.
Cancellation and Changes in Reservations by Customers
(Different conditions apply for flight bookings through Radurlaub Zeitreisen GmbH)You can withdraw from the travel contract up until the beginning of the trip. Your cancellation is valid when your written notification reaches us. If you cancel before the 60th day before the start of the trip, we will refund the amount paid so far, minus a cancellation handling fee.
Our cancellation fees are:
If you cancel on the day of the trip or if you do not appear for the start of the trip, we charge the full trip price.
If you miss the start of the trip or are prevented from traveling due to incomplete travel documents, this will be considered as a cancellation.
Reservation changes are handled the same way as cancellations. For changing your reservation, we will charge 50 € changing fee for changes made 28 days or more before the beginning of the trip. Any later changes (if possible) will need to be handled as a cancellation and new registration. Cancellation and reservation change fees are due immediately.
Registration
You can register by mail, fax, Internet, or by phone. If you register additional participants, your contract encompasses the contractual responsibilities for all the participants you registered. By registering, you are offering us a binding travel contract. The contract is finalized through our confirmation. Any additional arrangements or changes to the set contract must be made in writing.
PaymentA deposit in the amount of 10% of the total trip price is due at the finalization of the contract. With the deposit and the finalization of the contract, you will receive an insurance notice (unfortunately only available in German) protecting you, as required by German law, from insolvency of the tour operator. The remainder of the payment is due four weeks before the start of the trip. After booking you will receive an information booklet for the trip per mail; this is also a part of the travel contract and needs to be read carefully as it contains the most up-to-date information about the trip.
Services
The foundation upon which the trip is organized is the description of the services, which is available in the brochure, in official pamphlets and on our website, and confirmed in your travel contract. Alterations that become necessary after the finalization of the contract and that are made in good faith are permitted if they are not substantial, and do not change the overall character of the trip. We assume no liability for information in the brochures of our partners or in our own brochure, even if we issued them.
Liability
We are liable within the scope of a merchant’s duty of care for diligent trip preparation, careful selection and supervision of participating agencies, accuracy of service and activity descriptions, and standard provision of the services agreed upon. Our liability for damages other than personal injury is limited to three times the cost of the trip, provided the damages are neither intentional nor due to gross negligence. This limitation is still in effect if we are responsible for the damage due to the fault of a service provider. If we are solely procurers of foreign services, we are liable only for proper procurement, not for the services. We are liable for damage or loss of luggage up to the amount of 250 € only if the damage was caused by us and was indicated to us immediately. Scratches on luggage, torn luggage handles, and damaged wheels are excluded from any liability. Upon delivery of luggage at the accommodation facilities, the liability is transferred according to § 701 BGB to the officer of the accommodations. Services that were not made use of will not be reimbursed.
Participation
A vacation that involves exercise and physical activity requires greater commitment than a conventional package tour. It is your duty to make certain that you are up to the physical challenges of such a trip. The pre-condition for a bike-tour is that you are able to handle a bicycle in street traffic and on unpaved paths under any weather conditions. If you rent a bike, it is your responsibility to check the condition of the bike, particularly the brakes. You bear sole responsibility for adhering to all legal regulations at home and abroad, particularly regulations about travel documents and cross-border trade. When traveling across the exterior borders of the EU, your luggage must remain unlocked, to facilitate passage through customs. If your baggage is searched, you will be notified about it upon arrival at the destination. If problems with the procurement of the services occur, you are required to help within the scope of legal regulations, in order to avoid potential damages or keep them at a minimum and report any complaints to us immediately.
Duty of Care
During the duration of the trip, you are liable for damage to or loss of bicycles and any equipment entrusted to you. For guided tours, this is only valid if you have separated yourself from the group, have disobeyed instructions from the tour guides, or caused the damage or loss intentionally, through negligence or gross negligence.
Warranty
You can demand redress if the trip services are not rendered according to the contract. This can be solved by us providing compensation of equal or greater value. In the case of disproportionate effort, corrective action can be denied. For the period in which the services that have not been rendered according to contract, you can request a reduction in travel price after your return. The pre-condition for this is the immediate notification of our deficiencies or those of our tour guides, so that we have the opportunity to find a remedy. Tour guides are not authorized to recognize claims. Independent of a reduction in travel price, you can demand compensation due to non-compliance with the travel contract, unless we are not responsible for the defect.
Limitation of claim
Claims must be made in writing within one month of the contractual end of the trip. The statute of limitation for claims based on the contract expires six months after the contractual end of the trip. The statute of limitations for all claims of civil offence expires three years after the end of the trip.
Privacy of Personal InformationAll personal information that you give us for the processing of the trip is protected against misuse under German personal data protection law.
Travel ProtectionWe urge you to consider effecting a travel cancellation cost insurance. Before the trip, please also find out about your medical and accident insurance and about luggage insurance or travel liability insurance, if necessary.
Severability Clause
The nullification of individual clauses in the travel contract or the travel terms does not result in the nullification of the entire contract or the travel terms.
Court of JurisdictionThe court of jurisdiction is Konstanz, Germany
