Day 1: Omišalj – Cres (14 miles/22 km)
Individual arrival to Omisalj- a quiet port town on the island of Krk. We have enough time to take a refreshing swim in the Adriatic Sea or to enjoy an ice cream before we board the boat. Between 14 and 14:30 pm onwards we can move into our cabins on the motor yacht. Around 15 pm the boat takes off to Cres town where we arrive after a 4 hrs sail. After our guided walk through the Venetian old town we may enjoy the evening in this lively island capital.
Day 2: Islands of Cres and Lošinj (12+17 miles/20+28 km)
In the morning we cruise over to Martinščica. Our cycle tour takes us through pine, fig and laurel trees along the east side of the island to the artists’ village of Osor. There we meet the boat for lunch. The bay with its crystal clear water is perfect for swimming. On a guided tour through Osor we learn about the Croatian history, its currency and why there are no snakes on Cres and the connection of the artists’ village and the Greek mythology. In the afternoon the boat takes us to Mali Losinj where we take another bike ride. Another cycle tour takes us further along the water front and many picturesque bays until we reach the southernmost part of the island and the village of Veli Losinj. The small port town with its numerous fishing boats is dominated by the imposing church of St. Anton. We stay overnight in Mali Lošinj.
Day 3: Islands of Molat and Dugi Otok (6+27 miles/10+45 km)
Once the boat arrived on the flower island of Molat we start our cycle tour across the island from the port Molat to Zapuntel. The boat awaits us to cruise over to Božava on Dugi Otok. From here we start our second cycle tour in the afternoon. We cycle along traffic free roads until we reach Sali. On the way we get impressed by terrific views and the deep blue sea and surrounding islands. If you like there is also the opportunity to take a small side trip to the beautiful lighthouse of Veli Rat or to the nature park Telašćica with its impressive cliffs and the Mir salt lake.
Day 4: Islands of Pašman and Ugljan – Zadar (18 miles/30 km)
In the morning we cross over to Tkon on the island of Pašman and start cycling along the east coast with many beautiful views of the sea and the opposite mainland. After tasting the suckling pig we cycle on over a bridge to the island of Ugljan. We are getting picked up by our boat in Preko on the other side of the island and our cruise continues to Zadar, which, for centuries, was the political, cultural and spiritual centre of Dalmatia. 3000 years of history have left their imprint on the character of this town and there are many things to be admired: the mighty fortified walls with their bastions, the loggia but also the early Romanesque St. Donatus Basilica. In the evening our tour guide takes us on an extensive walk through the lively city centre.
Day 5: Islands of Pag and Rab (12 miles/20 km)
After a short cruise we reach island of Pag. In the harsh but delightful landscape of the island we come across many fig and olive trees. Over the centuries the inhabitants have built numerous stone walls for protection against the wind. Starting from Novalja we cycle to Lun at the northern end of the island. Our ship is awaiting us there and we cruise over to Rab. The fortified capital of the island, was built in the Middle Ages on a wedge shaped headland, and marks one of the highlights of the trip. The four famous bell towers are the symbol of the adorned beauty of the town. On a guided evening walk we can explore the most interesting sights of Rab. Numerous cosy cafes invite us to enjoy a drink in the narrow alleys after dinner.
Day 6: Islands of Rab – Goli Otok – Krk (15 miles/25 km)
From Rab city today’s tour leads us through the northern part of the island, which is green and rich in water to Lopar. From there the boat takes us to Goli Otok (Croatian: the naked island), a tiny island on which the Yugoslavian high security prison “Titos Hawai” was situated from 1949 – 1988. Today the island is uninhabited but may be visited. After a guided tour our boat takes us to Krk town where we spend the night. The historic town invites to a stroll after dinner.
Day 7: Island of Krk (27 miles/45 km)
Today we cycle over the ridge of the island which is covered by fragrant macchia to a valley of vineyards and then onwards to the small museum town of Vrbnik in the northeast. The town built on a 165-feet-high (50m) cliff and surrounded by vineyards is the home of the famous white wine Žlahtina. Another peculiarity that Vrbnik has to offer is the second narrowest alley in the world. The way leads us across the island through old villages and rich vegetation to Omišalj. On our way we have a chance to swim in the bay of Soline. The last evening aboard takes place traditionally and includes the customary dinner and a last get-together in a cosy atmosphere with crew and tour guides.
Day 8: Omišalj (Departure)
After breakfast, disembarkation until 9 a.m. and individual trip home or extended stay in Croatia.
Changes
We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, depending on wind and weather conditions or organizational requirements. Sometimes the tour could be conducted in reverse order.

Andela Lora
(All departures; all cabins with shower/toilet)
The Andela Lora is a very elegant boat. Next to the boat Linda it is captain Damir's second boat for Islandhopping. The boat was only launched in spring 2012. This yacht is really an elegant steel construction of the "deluxe category". With its imposing length of more than 40 yards und a breadth of more than 9 yards it is one of the biggest boats of our Croatian fleet.
It has got 18 roomy cabins available for our guests (14-16² yards) – many of them are three- or four-bed cabins with tiled bathrooms and separate showers. Astern the boat has a bathing platform which facilitates the access to the open sea. A nice salon on the upper deck of the boat and many deck chairs for sunbathing on each platform make the voyage on the Andela Lora a very special one. The attentive and helpful crew is ready to do anything for a light-hearted journey through this wonderful island world.
Catering
The cook on board is a member of the crew and prepares breakfast and two warm meals a day. The full board starts with the lunch on the arrival day and ends with the breakfast on the departure day. Lunch on Krk Island will be in a good restaurant ashore during the cycle tour.

A rich, cultural history and diverse, majestic landscape describes the country of Croatia. Calling their country “Our Beautiful Homeland”, the Croats offer a warm welcome to visitors who want to experience the wonders of Croatia. Flat plains along the Hungarian border, low mountains and highlands near the Adriatic coastline and over 1,000 islands explain why Croatia is one of few nations to have three distinct climate zones.
Diversity continues in the Croatian culture with four cultural circles thriving together: Western, Eastern and Central Europe, and Mediterranean. Each culture retains its unique customs, including lace-making in Lepoglava, bell ringers in the Kasta region and Ojkanje singing in the Dalmatia region. Cuisine varies in the coastal region that favors seafood specialties, olive oil and prosciutto compared to the continental region that favors meat products, freshwater fish and vegetables. Other highlights include Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace in Split, a Roman amphitheatre in Pula and the city of Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic."

Please read all the following terms and conditions carefully.Trip CancellationIf the minimum number of participants required for a trip is not met (18 participants for bus and boat trips, unless otherwise noted), we reserve the right to cancel it. The decision about whether the trip will take place or not will be made as early as possible, three weeks before the beginning of the trip at the latest. In case of trip cancellation, all payments you have made will be fully refunded. There can be no additional claims made against us. As the tour operator, we have the right to cancel the tour if the trip is jeopardized, made difficult, or impaired due to an act of God.
Cancellation and Changes in Reservations by Customers
(Different conditions apply for flight bookings through Radurlaub Zeitreisen GmbH)You can withdraw from the travel contract up until the beginning of the trip. Your cancellation is valid when your written notification reaches us. If you cancel before the 60th day before the start of the trip, we will refund the amount paid so far, minus a cancellation handling fee.
Our cancellation fees are:
If you cancel on the day of the trip or if you do not appear for the start of the trip, we charge the full trip price.
If you miss the start of the trip or are prevented from traveling due to incomplete travel documents, this will be considered as a cancellation.
Reservation changes are handled the same way as cancellations. For changing your reservation, we will charge 50 € changing fee for changes made 28 days or more before the beginning of the trip. Any later changes (if possible) will need to be handled as a cancellation and new registration. Cancellation and reservation change fees are due immediately.
Registration
You can register by mail, fax, Internet, or by phone. If you register additional participants, your contract encompasses the contractual responsibilities for all the participants you registered. By registering, you are offering us a binding travel contract. The contract is finalized through our confirmation. Any additional arrangements or changes to the set contract must be made in writing.
PaymentA deposit in the amount of 10% of the total trip price is due at the finalization of the contract. With the deposit and the finalization of the contract, you will receive an insurance notice (unfortunately only available in German) protecting you, as required by German law, from insolvency of the tour operator. The remainder of the payment is due four weeks before the start of the trip. After booking you will receive an information booklet for the trip per mail; this is also a part of the travel contract and needs to be read carefully as it contains the most up-to-date information about the trip.
Services
The foundation upon which the trip is organized is the description of the services, which is available in the brochure, in official pamphlets and on our website, and confirmed in your travel contract. Alterations that become necessary after the finalization of the contract and that are made in good faith are permitted if they are not substantial, and do not change the overall character of the trip. We assume no liability for information in the brochures of our partners or in our own brochure, even if we issued them.
Liability
We are liable within the scope of a merchant’s duty of care for diligent trip preparation, careful selection and supervision of participating agencies, accuracy of service and activity descriptions, and standard provision of the services agreed upon. Our liability for damages other than personal injury is limited to three times the cost of the trip, provided the damages are neither intentional nor due to gross negligence. This limitation is still in effect if we are responsible for the damage due to the fault of a service provider. If we are solely procurers of foreign services, we are liable only for proper procurement, not for the services. We are liable for damage or loss of luggage up to the amount of 250 € only if the damage was caused by us and was indicated to us immediately. Scratches on luggage, torn luggage handles, and damaged wheels are excluded from any liability. Upon delivery of luggage at the accommodation facilities, the liability is transferred according to § 701 BGB to the officer of the accommodations. Services that were not made use of will not be reimbursed.
Participation
A vacation that involves exercise and physical activity requires greater commitment than a conventional package tour. It is your duty to make certain that you are up to the physical challenges of such a trip. The pre-condition for a bike-tour is that you are able to handle a bicycle in street traffic and on unpaved paths under any weather conditions. If you rent a bike, it is your responsibility to check the condition of the bike, particularly the brakes. You bear sole responsibility for adhering to all legal regulations at home and abroad, particularly regulations about travel documents and cross-border trade. When traveling across the exterior borders of the EU, your luggage must remain unlocked, to facilitate passage through customs. If your baggage is searched, you will be notified about it upon arrival at the destination. If problems with the procurement of the services occur, you are required to help within the scope of legal regulations, in order to avoid potential damages or keep them at a minimum and report any complaints to us immediately.
Duty of Care
During the duration of the trip, you are liable for damage to or loss of bicycles and any equipment entrusted to you. For guided tours, this is only valid if you have separated yourself from the group, have disobeyed instructions from the tour guides, or caused the damage or loss intentionally, through negligence or gross negligence.
Warranty
You can demand redress if the trip services are not rendered according to the contract. This can be solved by us providing compensation of equal or greater value. In the case of disproportionate effort, corrective action can be denied. For the period in which the services that have not been rendered according to contract, you can request a reduction in travel price after your return. The pre-condition for this is the immediate notification of our deficiencies or those of our tour guides, so that we have the opportunity to find a remedy. Tour guides are not authorized to recognize claims. Independent of a reduction in travel price, you can demand compensation due to non-compliance with the travel contract, unless we are not responsible for the defect.
Limitation of claim
Claims must be made in writing within one month of the contractual end of the trip. The statute of limitation for claims based on the contract expires six months after the contractual end of the trip. The statute of limitations for all claims of civil offence expires three years after the end of the trip.
