Day 1: Strasbourg
After arriving in Strasbourg, settle into the hotel and spend the evening exploring the town.
Overnight in Strasbourg.
Day 2: Strasbourg – Osthouse (16 miles/25 km)
Leaving Strasbourg, you cycle along the Rhône-Rhine canal, which will lead you along its very pretty cycle track into the heart of the Ried.
Overnight in Osthouse.
Day 3: Osthouse - Colmar (45 miles/73 km)
You will travel through the landscapes and villages of the Alsatian Ried that is rich in aquatic flora and fauna. You arrive in Colmar, the capital of the wine of Alsace and the town of art, by the cycle track along the channel of Colmar.
Overnight in Colmar.
Or Alternative Train+Bicycle: Osthouse - Erstein (+train to Selestat) - Colmar (23 miles/38 km)
Day 4: Colmar - Muchbach (24 miles/40 km) or Guebwiller (20 miles/33 km)
You have more time to visit the art city Colmar. You follow cycle tracks and occasionally on traffic-poor side roads until arrriving in Guebwiller.
Overnight in Murbach or Guebwiller.
Day 5: Muchbach or Guebwiller - Kaysersberg or Riquewihr or Ribeauville* (30-32 miles/49-53 km)
Nestled at the foot of the Vosges are countless winemaking villages responsible for the reputation of the Alsatian Grand Crus. Among a few are Eguisheim, Turkheim, Kaysersberg and Riquewihr.
Overnight in Kayersberg/Riquewihr/Ribeauville.
Day 6: Riquewihr - Obernai or Barr/ Kays - Barr/ Ribeauville - Obernai* (29 miles/47 km)
Along the wine road you will discover the villages of Barr, Andlau and its abbey, Bergheim, Ribeauvillé and Hunawihr.

Day 7: Obernai - Strasbourg (23 miles/37 km)
From there, you follow along the cycle track on the banks of the Bruche canal, until you reach the capital of Europe, Strasbourg. Either the end of your tour tour or an additional night.

Espace Randonnée takes care of the luggage transfer. Your personal belongings need to be packed up and ready at 9:00 am each day to be transferred to the next stage, where you’ll have them at 5:00 pm at latest. (Should you choose to transport your luggage with you, this won’t decrease the price of the Tour)
When you will be back to Strasbourg, you will arrive at the hotel you stayed in for the first night and get back your luggage anytime after 1:00 pm. You will be asked to return the bikes in the dedicated space and padlock the bikes. Keys and plastic-coated maps need to be given to the hotel reception.
