On this tour through France's Alsace region, you will cross the Saint Forest situated on the outskirts of Haguenau. Day 1: Haguenau
Individual arrival to Hageunau; settle into the hotel.
Overnight in Hageunau.
Day 2: Haguenau – Ingwiller (32 miles/52 km)
The Saint Forest in the north of Haguenau was the home of the hermit Saint Arbogast, who was the first bishop of Strasbourg. On the outskirts, the emperors had churches and abbeys built in the 11th and 12th centuries, just like those in Walbourg. You will reach Ingwiller by passing through discrete and peaceful villages.
Overnight in Ingwiller.
Day 3: Ingwiller – Saverne (25 miles/41 km)
You will discover the rural countryside of Alsace with villages and perfectly aligned farms decorated with beams and geraniums. You will visit Marmoutier Saint Pierre and Paul’s Church, which are excellant examples of the Roman architecture of Alsace. You will finally reach Saverne, the capital of roses, that features an 18th century chateau sitting proudly at the foot of the Vosges.
Overnight in Saverne.
Day 4: Saverne – Niederbronn les Bains (31 miles/50 km)
After cycling along the foot of the Vosges Mountains and its charming villages, you will reach Neuwiller-lès-Saverne. This charming village is a destination for pilgrims in honor of Bishop St. Adelphe. Because of that, you will visit one of the gems of the religious architecture in Alsace. A short distance later, you reach the city of Bouxwiller. You can take a step back in history as you walk through its streets, its many splendid houses and its rich past as the old capital of the county of Hanau-Lichtenberg.
Overnight in Niederbronn les Bains.
Day 5: Niederbronn-les-Bains – Lembach (28 miles/45 km)
You will cycle through the country of castles, as the route continues through the forests of the “Parc Naturel of the Vosges du Nord.” You will pass forgotten villages and countless, remarkable natural sights. In Lembach, the day's final destination, you will be given the chance to visit the lime kiln, an old underground fortress of the Maginot line.
Overnight in Lembach.
Day 6: Lembach – Wissembourg (19 miles/31 km)
Lembach is situated a short distance away from the German border. Today's stage takes you to the top of the Litschhof and to Schönau, the heart of the villages. Following a bicycle track on the German side you arrive in Wissembourg, a beautiful medieval town.
Overnight in Wissembourg.
Day 7: Wissembourg - Hageunau (36 miles/49 km)
The bicycle track leaves from Wissembourg and takes you to Seebach. Seebach, just like Hoffen, is known to be the most beautiful of the beam-house villages in Alsace.
Overnight in Hageunau.
Day 8: Departure
Additional day/night.

Espace Randonnée takes care of the luggage transfer. Your personal belongings need to be packed up and ready at 9:00 am each day to be transferred to the next stage, where you’ll have them at 5:00 pm at latest. (Should you choose to transport your luggage with you, this won’t decrease the price of the tour).
When you will be back to Hageunau, you will arrive at the hotel you stayed in for the first night and get back your luggage anytime after 1:00 pm. You will be asked to return the bikes in the dedicated space and padlock the bikes. Keys and plastic-coated maps need to be given to the hotel reception.

Electro bikes, tag-along bikes, child bike follower, children trailer, child bike seat and children's bikes are available.
