Forgotten medieval villages stick on the hills when you are following the Durance in the valley, various landscapes, pine forests and coloured sceneries await you in an unknown Provence. Day 1: Arrival at Avignon
Typical Hotel, and dinner in its very good restaurant.
Overnight in Avignon.

Day 2: Avignon - Eygalières/Cavaillon (27 miles/45 km)
Meeting at approx. 9.30 a.m. at the reception of your hotel. Through the petit Crau to St Rémy de Provence and further on to Cavaillon.
Overnight in Cavaillon.

Day 3: Eygalières/Cavaillon - Lourmarin (33 miles/ 55 km)
You continue on the South side of the Lubéron mountains along the Durance valley and in the hills and cross the very typical villages like Mérindol, Lauris, and the vineyards to Lourmarin, very nice village.
Overnight in Lourmarin.

Day 4: Lourmarin - Manosque (27 miles/45 km)
These beautiful landscapes accompany you on the way to Manosque, the town of Jean Giono.
Overnight in Manosque.

Day 5: Manosque -Gargas (41 miles/65 km)
You leave the Durance valley and make a climb and continue on the North side of the Lubéron by crossing other little villages and magnificent sceneries until Apt/Gargas.
Overnight in Gargas.

Day 6: Gargas – Isle sur La Sorgue (30 miles/50 km)
Today the tour leads you from Apt to the ochre rocks near Roussillon that is also a very nice and very coloured village. You continue you trip until Isle sur Sorgue called the “Venice of the Provence”.
Overnight in Isle sur Sorgue.

Day 7: Isle sur La Sorgue - Avignon (25 miles/40 km)
On little roads trough the friendly Durance landscape and fruit plantations to Avignon.
Overnight in Avignon.

Breakfast then departure.

An electrically assisted bike is also available. It is a women's step-through aluminium frame with a seamless electric power boost. 

A tandem bike is also available (limited, upon request).

"It was a great trip! We enjoyed the self guided tour. Luggage transport was great. Hotels were good. Other people on the tour were great. Food was good. There were a few locations where the directions could be improved, but we always found our way. I think we actually enjoyed getting lost once in a while it was never more than 2 kilometers. I suggest that they provide plastic bags for the maps in case it rains and even if it doesn't it protect them better than the pouches on the handle bar packs. The bikes were good and comfortable. The service at the hotels was good. The owner at Hotel La Ferme in Avignon was not too friendly. Please don't tell him I said that. He seemed to come around the last night we were there. We all joked about his demeanor. Everywhere else the service was friendly and great. The people in France are very nice and polite. I have to say it was a great experience. The Luberon - C'est magnifique!"

First Before you travel, the customer may at any time withdraw from the contract. The customer is advised to explain the resignation in writing. In the event of cancellation or no-show without prior cancellation of the trip we are entitled to charge the following fees from the tour price: 

For bike tours: 

• to 28 Days prior to departure: 20% 
• of 27-8. Days prior to departure: 50% 
• of 7-1. Days prior to departure: 80% 
• On arrival and no show: 90% 

For cycling and boat trips: 

• to 85th Days prior to departure 10%, minimum € 100 - 
• of the 84th to 43 Days prior to departure 30% 
• between 42 to 29 Days before departure 60% 
• of 28 to arrival / no show 90%

The customer is entitled to prove France bike that no damage has been incurred or is substantially lower than this package.

Recommended in any case; travel cancellation insurance.

Second Each registered participant may be replaced by a third when he tells us of this until three days prior to departure. France-Bike can object to the participants of the important reasons. Then apply the above terms and conditions. If a substitute in place of the registered participant, the original contract is not affected. For the transfer effort, we are entitled to € 50 - to charge.

Liability and Limitation of Liability

Responsibilities

• First The Contract is subject to German law.

Liability and Limitation of Liability

Jurisdiction / Applicable Law

• First The Contract is subject to German law.
• Second The client can only sue France bike at his place.
