Day 1: Arrival in Bayeux
Upon arrival to Bayeux, you will have the possibility to admire the amazing 11th century Bayeux Tapestry showing the conquest of England by William Duke of Normandy. Dinner.
Overnight in Bayeux.
Day 2: Loop on landing beaches (32 miles/51 km)
Today is a loop ride to the landing beaches of Omaha beach. Have a walk into path of history on a sandy beach before reaching the American cemetery. Then continue the ride to the ‘Pointe du Hoc,’ which was one of the strategic points in the German fortifications along the Normandy coast. Then follow the seaside routes to Colleville sur mer and its very impressive American cemetery, before reaching Bayeux.
Overnight in Bayeux.
Day 3: Bayeux – Caen (35 miles/57 km)
Cycling to Arromanches where you can see floating in the sea some vestiges of the artificial harbor “Mulberry” conceived by Winston Churchill. Proceed along the coast to Courseulles-sur-Mer (Juno Beach) and go back inland to reach the nice town of Caen with its 2 majestic abbeys. Dinner.
Overnight in Caen.
Day 4: Caen – Cabourg (17 miles/28 km)
After having crossed the Pegasus bridge, where the English army won an important victory in 1944, it's time to enjoy a coastal ride and discover the magnificent "Côte Fleurie" and the charmingly elegant town of Cabourg. Cabourg is a much loved family resort with pleasant walks along a promenade over two miles long sheltered by a sea wall. Dinner.

Day 5: Cabourg – Honfleur (30 miles/48 km)
Today its back to the "Pays d'Auge" area before reaching the village of Beaumont-en-Auge with its colorful half timbered cottages and then Deauville. Deauville, known as the lady of the French coast, with its most glamorous seaside resort, symbolizes elegance, prestige and sophistication. This is also the city of the horse and the gateway to Calvados.
Continue by cycling along the coast to reach Honfleur and its charming harbor. Honfleur is a small medieval town, revealing her riches to all those who take the time to look. The past is in evidence all around, including the Old Dock surrounded by picturesque narrow houses, which is no doubt what catches the eye of every visitor upon their first visit to Honfleur. But the town also boasts St. Catherine, St. Etienne, St. Léonard churches, the Lieutenance, the old Salt Stores, and the medieval cobbled streets. Honfleur is also recognised as one of the cradles of Impressionism and artists' favourite place.
