There is a saying in Hungary that all you have to do is push a stick into the ground to reach the thermal water rich in minerals and trace elements. Thanks to this natural phenomenon and, with more than 400 hot springs and 200 thermal spas, Hungary is a world leader in spa vacationing.
In fact, thermal waters in Hungary have been used for curative purposes since Roman times, who developed an extensive bathing culture around the hot springs. All Hungarian spas have chlorine-free mineral pools of varying temperatures of 80-100 degrees Fahrenheit (28-38 Celsius). The hot springs gush into the surface at very high temperatures and have to be cooled off to different temperatures suitable for bathing and swimming. On this tour, suitable for those of all ages, you will can enjoy the healing waters of Hungary!
