Program of this tour includes 8 days cycling with van transfers. Tour can be supplemented with extra nights to give everybody enough time for landmarks, relax, and entertainment.
Day 1: Tel Aviv (13 miles/20 km)
We will start a trip with an easy ride of Tel Aviv- Israel’s cosmopolitan-Mediterranean city. Our unique route will take us through historic and human landmarks throughout the whole city including the Tel Aviv Port, the Yarkon River, the White City and Neve Tzedek. We will also stop for a break in the newly reopened Jaffa Train Station, before we bike to the Old City of Jaffa. In Jaffa we will see the ancient port, the Church of St. Peter, and the artist Colony built within the walls. After a ride along the beachfront we will return to our hotel and meet again for dinner and to toast the beginning of the tour.
Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 2: Carmel to Caesarea (28 miles/45 km)
We will leave Tel Aviv early morning by van and drive to the Horn of Carmel. It is in this biblical site that Elijah fought the prophets of Ba'al (Kings 1). After enjoying a spectacular view of the Galilee from the rooftop of the Church we will leave to continue biking down the slope of the Carmel. After riding through the Amikam region- known as the Tuscany of Israel, we will stop for lunch at the old town of Binyamina, (established in 1922) in the local winery. From here we will ride to Caesarea, built in the first century BC by King Herod. We will bike along the Aqueduct all the way to the Ancient port. We will take a short walking tour of the city that was once the Capitol of Judea, and is today a true gem on the coast. After Caesarea we will head by car to the City of Nazareth for the night.
Overnight in Nazareth.
Day 3: Nazareth to Kfar Tabor (22 miles/35 km)
We will start the day with a short walking tour of the Old city of Nazareth, biblical home of Jesus, the church of annunciation and the local market. From here we will leave Nazareth and begin to ride to Mt Tabor, overlooking the Galilee. We start riding through the Beit Keshet Forest to the village of Daburia, named after the prophet Dvora that lived in the area of mount Tavor. From here we will start to climb up mount Tavor, mentioned in the New Testament as the place of transfiguration, and see the monastery at the top and the ruins of a Byzantine and Crusader fortress. After our visit here, we will bike to Shibli and Kfar Kama and have an authentic Chrecesian lunch. We will also spend some time after lunch to see this beautiful village and the museum of this unique ethnic group, which came here in the ottoman period from central Asia. We will then continue cycling to Kfar Tavor to finish our ride at a local winery.
Overnight in Kfar Tavor.
Day 4: The Sea of Galilee, the first Kibbutz and Hamat Gader hot springs (22 miles/35 km)
Our road will head towards the Sea of Galilee passing through several small villages on our way. We will ride down the slope towards Lake Kinneret (Sea of Galillee) with the view of Tiberius and the Golan Heights in front of us. We will stop to visit Moshava Kinneret, a landmark of Israeli history and the birth place of the Kibbutz idea. We will also ride through Dgania, the first kibbutz and see the historic 1948 battle ground. After a Kibbutz style lunch in Beit Zera we will ride towards the Golan, overlooking the Yarmuch River and the old train to Damascus. From here we will ride to Hamat Gader, a natural hot spring that was used as a bath starting in the Roman period. After soaking our muscles in the warm water we will board the van and drive via the Jordan Valley to Jerusalem.
Overnight in Jerusalem
Day 5: Jerusalem (12 miles/20 km)
Our day will start with a bike ride through some of the various neighborhoods Jerusalem has to offer. We will pass the Prime ministers home, Valley of the cross, Israeli Parliament and Supreme Court and then head through the market to Jaffa Gate for lunch. From here we will leave our bike and continue by foot into the alleys of the Old City visiting the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and the Western Wall. After passing through the market you will be free to choose whether to return to the Hotel or tour on your own in the Old City. The rest of the Evening you will be free to relax, and choose where you wish to dine.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 6: Judean Hills (31 miles/50km)
The hills surrounding Jerusalem hold some of the best cycling routes in Israel, and we will probably see dozens of other cyclists as we head on our way. We will start riding from Bar Giora and head downhill towards Beit Shemesh. We will ride through the Adolam Park, where we will get a glimpse of the famous caves where Bar Kochva and his supporters hid from the Romans in the year 135 AD. From here we will ride to the Ella Valley, the Biblical sight of David and Goliaths battle, and continue to Lunch and a taste of wine from Israel’s leading wine region. After Lunch we will continue for a short while to see the ruins of Beit Guvrin , and then take the Van back to Jerusalem. After a short rest we will go out to a farewell dinner.
Overnight in Jerusalem.

Israel is at once a land of modernity and antiquity. An ancient culture that has managed to adapt to the contemporary world, Israel is considered by many to be the cradle of Western culture. It's an important place for three of the world’s major religions: Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. Israel has ruins, temples and ancient churches, along with historic synagogues, making it one of the most popular places to visit for religious pilgrims.
Israel's abundance of museums features relics from the ancient civilizations of the land and religious and historical artifacts. Despite the ongoing political issues with the region, Israel is still a huge draw for tourists, who come to see its vibrant and rich culture and enjoy its history.

All trips are offered subject to EcoBike standard terms and conditions on our website (www.ecobike.co.il) and by request. Please review the terms and conditions carefully prior to completing your reservation. Some of these terms and conditions are set out below to draw your attention to the fact that our obligations to you are limited.
Cancelling/Switching Trips
If you must cancel your reservation, the fees for doing so are as follows:
Should you cancel your reservation more than 95 days in advance of the departure date, the entire deposit is transferrable as a future trip credit to be used by the same traveler towards an EcoBike trip departing within 24 months of the original trip cancellation date. This credit cannot be extended beyond 24 months but may be transferred to another trip only once. Between 65-95 days prior to your original departure date, you may transfer to a different trip in the same calendar year upon payment of a fee of US$250 per person. If you cancel this subsequent reservation, then the cancellation fees applicable shall be the higher of the cancellation fee on your original reservation or the cancellation fee on the trip to which you transferred. Within 60 days of departure, the regular cancellation fees will apply.
Cancellation Insurance
We strongly recommend you purchase cancellation insurance to protect yourself from unexpected circumstances that may cause you to cancel your trip. You may notify us of your decision to decline travel protection, or if we do not receive payment for the travel protection at the time of your final payment for the trip, we will assume that you have declined it.
Cancellation by EcoBike

In such a case, refund of payments received by EcoBike shall constitute full and final settlement. In the event of cancellation, EcoBike is not responsible for any loss incurred on account of non-refundable or non-transferable air tickets or other unrecoverable travel costs.
External Travel Services
EcoBike may recommend the services of external travel companies or other support services in response to requests made by travelers for services outside of the scope of a EcoBike trip. Although we endeavor to recommend only companies that provide the highest levels of service and work closely with them to try to obtain special treatment for EcoBike travelers, we do not guarantee the services provided by third parties. EcoBike is not liable for any injury, expenses or costs arising from any services, or lack thereof, provided by neither any third party nor the standards of care which travelers experience when using those services.
