The Dolomites are part of the Italian Alps and are among the most beautiful mountain range in all over the world. The region is located in the north-east of their border with Austria, in South Tyrol Alto Adige. For the most part of your trip you will go along ancient military and forestry roads. In these areas battles of the First World War took place. You will discover testimonials of that time: trenches and deep tunnels, which are to be seen by the side of the path.
This hiking path leads through three language areas and their related cultures: starting in the German-speaking Alta Pusteria, then it goes through the Ladin-speaking Fanes and lastly in the south of the Passo Falzàrego, where the Italian language finally dominates. With the MTB it is certainly the best possibility to discover a dream path of the world-famous Dolomites.
The scenery is absolutely breathtaking with magnificent mountains, incredible vistas and wonderful walks. A true paradise and an exciting adventure for people who love the mountains!
