Deep in the south of Spain you find Ronda, one of the most visited historic and attractive towns of Spain. Narrow streets with cobblestones lead through churches, Moorish palaces, squares and impressive views. Through the city runs the spectacular, 426 feet (130 meter) deep canyon of the Tajo. This will be the base for this week-long tour through the Andalusia region in Spain.
You'll find an incredible diversity of landscapes and terrain in this region, from rugged mountains to cork oak forests to wavy grain fields. Sloping landscapes dotted with steeper inclines, but not overwhelmingly so, encompass these 21- 44 miles (35- 70 km) daily tours. Medium-or high mountains with distances of around 62 miles (100 km).
Enjoy the region's beautiful nature, white villages and rugged mountains in over 30 cycling routes from your base hotel in Ronda! We offer you a list of these daily routes so you can personally direct each day of your tour to suit your preferences.

There are over 30 cycling routes to choose from, to explore the best of Andalusia from your home base in Ronda. We offer you a list of routes from which to choose, so you can direct each day of touring personally.
You'll be amazed at the diversity of landscapes that you find around Ronda. South of Ronda you cycle through rugged mountains with some white villages, hidden between the green chestnut trees. In the west between the cork oak forests and needle forests some of the most beautiful white villages. In the green val-ley of the Rio Guardiaro you ride along almond and plum trees. North of Ronda, the setting is something dryer. You will find wavy grain and sunflower fields, a Roman theater (free admission) and the cave dwellings of Setenil.
To the east the road over the Pas of the Wind is a popular excursion. You will not encounter much traffic in the country. Near Ronda you will find a network of paths and roads you can explore very well per ATB. Cycling in the summer is no problem, provided you leave right after breakfast, early in the morning. At night, the temperatures in the mountains are quite low. In the winter it is often clear weather, but periods of rain and low temperatures are also possible. Even without a bike, there is plenty to do in Ronda. The city has many monuments and it is a pleasure to explore the historic center with its parks, squares and fountains. There is a large indoor pool with sports. And what about a Flamenco evening?
