Today the trail rises again up to Brunni. In Gersau, take the car ferry to cross the lake to Beckenried. Today the MTB route runs over long stretches of the Alpine panorama route, i.e. long stretches are tarmacked over. We overnight in the heart of Switzerland in Giswil - indigenous country!

Day 4: Entlebuch Biosphere Reserve (24 miles/38 km; height 5,685 feet/1,733 m)
The Glaubenbielen pass (5,284 feet/1,611 m) is the challenge for the day. The raised moorland areas of Salwideli are part of the Entlebuch biosphere reserve – in Kemmeriboden, visitors can enjoy huge meringues and learn about the bathing culture of the past.
Overnight in Kemmeriboden.
Day 5: Mountain Splendour (29 miles/47 km; height 5,425 feet/1,654 m)

Overnight in Sangernboden.
Day 7: Crossing language border (17 miles/28 km; height 3,600 feet/1,100 m)
From the Sangernboden (3,205 feet/977 m), the trail again runs up to the Salzmatt (5,366 feet/1,636 m), ending at the Schwarzsee lake. Just a short stage to the end – although the descent from the Col de Soladier (5,169 feet/1,576 m) down to Lake Geneva has it all: sharp hairpin bends to the sophisticated hotel resorts of Caux and Glion before arriving at the famous seaside promenade of Montreux – the final destination of this panorama bike trail.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. REGISTRATION / CONTRACT
If a written or an oral registration for a Baumeler Travel product is received by Baumeler Travel, it will be considered as equivalent to a contract between the client and Baumeler Travel. The following Terms and Conditions are part and parcel of this contract. Should the content of the booking confirmation differ from that of the registration, this will be equivalent to a new offer on the part of the trip provider. If this new offer is not declined by the client within 3 days, it becomes binding and will be considered to have been accepted.
2. PRICES AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS
2.1. Prices
Unless otherwise stated, all prices are stated per person based on double occupancy, in Swiss Francs inclusive of Value Added Tax.
2.2. Payment Conditions
Final payment must be made at least 30 days prior to departure. If balance is not received, Baumeler Travel reserves the right to regard the reservation as cancelled. In the case of short-notice bookings the entire trip price must be paid immediately.
3. SERVICES
All services which are included in the package price are listed in the trip description. Baumeler Travel reserves the right to make any alterations to these services during the season; the client will be informed of any such changes at the time of booking or in the written booking confirmation.
4. PRICE AND PROGRAM CHANGES BEFORE DEPARTURE
Baumeler Travel reserves the right to alter the trip price, the trip program or individual services within the program before the contractual commencement of the trip. Should an important service supplier (such as a hotel) not be able to provide the required services, Baumeler Travel may seek an alternative solution. Any additional costs in such a case shall be borne by the client. Alterations to the trip program are possible provided they do not substantially affect the OVERVIEW and total content of the trip. Baumeler Travel is obliged to inform the client immediately of any such changes to services or program. If necessary, the client will be given the opportunity to make an amendment to or to cancel his booking free of charge.
5. CANCELLATION
A cancellation must be received in writing before it is considered effective. Because we are required to make deposits to our suppliers, and losses occur when individuals cancel, cancellation charges apply. Each deposit includes a non-refundable administration fee of CHF 100 per person.
5.1.Tailor made
The following charges will apply: If cancellation is received more than 60 days before departure, all monies will be refunded (except of the administration fee). 60 - 31 days before departure 50% have to be paid. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after 30 days before tour start date, for no-shows, and unused portions of the program unless the space can be filled. The date of cancellation or alteration counts as the day on which Baumeler Travel receives such cancellation or alteration from the client. In case falls on a Saturday, Sunday or statutory holiday, the next working day will apply.
5.2. Scheduled Departures
The following charges will apply: If cancellation is received more than 45 days before departure, all monies will be refunded (except of the administration fee). 45 -31 days before departure 30% of the total, 30-15 days before departure 50% of the total and 14 - 0 days before departure 100% have to be paid. The date of cancellation or alteration counts as the day on which Baumeler Travel receives such cancellation or alteration from the client. In case falls on a Saturday, Sunday or statutory holiday, the next working day will apply.
6. CHANGE OF BOOKING
If, after confirming your booking, you wish to change to an alternative departure date, you may do subject to availability and by agreement with our booking office. An amendment fee of CHF 100.00 will be charged. Should we not be able to accommodate your request and you therefore must cancel, our usual cancellation procedure will apply.
7. CANCELLATION BY BAUMELER TRAVEL
Baumeler Travel reserves the right to re-schedule or cancel any trip departure due to "forces majeures", governmental measures, political unrest, or strikes, if Baumeler Travel considers the execution of the trip to be endangered or seriously complicated by such causes. In such a case, Baumeler Travel will refund the price of the trip to the client. Any further claims to replacement will be rejected.
7.1. Scheduled Departures
Baumeler Travel reserves the right to cancel any trip due to inadequate sign-up or other cause that makes the trip unfeasible for us to operate, but we will inform you at least 30 days prior to trip departure. In such a case, a full refund of Land Cost is given, but Baumeler Travel is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by members preparing for the trip (e.g. nonrefundable “Advance Purchase” air tickets, visa fees if applicable, clothing, equipment, medical expenses).
8. VISAS
All travellers must have a valid passport fulfilling travel regulations. Non-Swiss clients are requested to check with their own consulates regarding the visa requirements to the countries to be visited. All clients are responsible for obtaining their own visas and observing the relevant entry, health and currency regulations that may apply in the countries to be visited. In case the client is unable to obtain the necessary documents or permits in time to embark on the trip, Baumeler Travel will be forced to apply the cancellation rules listed in 5.
9. MEDICAL & HEALTH
It is vital that persons with medical problems make them known to us well before trip departure. The trip leader has the right to disqualify anyone at any time during the trip if he or she feels the trip member is physically or mentally incapable or if a trip member’s continued participation will jeopardize the individual involved or the group. Refunds are not given under such circumstances. Hospital facilities are often unavailable and evacuation can be prolonged, difficult, and expensive. Baumeler travel assumes no liability regarding provision of medical care.
10. RESPONSIBILITIES
Baumeler Travel and/or its agents act only as agents for the passenger with respect to all transportation and hotels, and exercise every care possible. However, we can assume no liability for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity in connection with the services of any train, automobile, motorboat, carriage, van, or any other conveyance used in transportation for these tours, or for the acts or defaults of any company or personnel engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour. We cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or other services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine, acts of God or other causes beyond our control. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger, as tour rates provide for arrangements only for the time stated. We reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure in which case the entire payment will be refunded without further obligation on our part. No refund will be made for the unused portion of any tour. Baggage is at the owner’s risk entirely.
11. RATES
Will be according to the number of participants per program. Baumeler Travel reserves the right to increase the tour price in the event of cost increases due to changes in currency fluctuations and fuel surcharges.
12. Delays & Cost Increases
The cost of delays is not included if any trip is delayed due to bad weather, trail conditions, river levels, road conditions, transportation delays, government intervention, sickness or other contingency for which Baumeler Travel or its agents cannot make provision. Land Costs are subject to increase without prior notice, even after you have signed up on the trip. We often publish our prices more than a year in advance. Between that time and the time of the trip’s actual trip departure, we are occasionally faced with significant cost increases that we cannot absorb, i.e. international currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or increases in cost of services. We regret this situation, and we do everything we can to avoid raising prices, but sometimes it is unavoidable. We will do our best to limit such increases and will notify you at least two months before trip departure.
13. INSURANCE
Trip Cancellation Insurance is strongly recommended. In addition to trip cancellation insurance, we also recommend that all clients carry medical and personal insurance to cover hospital and other medical expenses, as well as loss of baggage and personal belongings. You are under no obligation to purchase insurance, but we strongly recommend that you purchase insurance coverage.
Travel insurance is compulsory and you should arrange such in your country of origin. You should be covered in the event of cancellation or curtailment, death, any medical or rescue expenses, as well as for any loss of baggage, money or personal items.

Trip members have certain responsibilities to Baumeler Travel and to other trip members. Trip members are responsible for understanding the conditions implied in the Trip Itinerary and selecting a trip in consultation with Baumeler Travel that is appropriate to their interests and abilities, and for preparing for the trip by studying the Trip Itinerary and supplemental trip information sent by Baumeler Travel.
15. PHOTOGRAPHY

17. Group size
Our group size usually numbers between 2 and 20 client per guide.

19. RELEASE and ASSUMPTION OF RISK
As a condition of acceptance of any reservation, each participant must agree to the following statement. A submitted application is evidence of your agreement.
