The final stop of the tour is Ho Chi Minh city, formerly Saigon, which the capital of French colony of Cochinchina and later of the independent state of South Vietnam from 1955 to 1975.

Daily Program: Guided
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will meet with a tour company representative and head to your hotel in city center. The rest of day is free to do whatever you would like, with dinner included at the hotel.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi City Tour (19 miles/30 km)
The day begins with breakfast at hotel followed by a Hanoi city tour by bike. You will visit the main boulevards of Hanoi, Temple of Literature, DongXuan market, the Old Quarter, HoanKiem Lake, HoChiMinh Mausoleum and the One pillar pagoda. You then continue biking around West lake to the Ethnology museum.
Overnight at hotel in Hanoi (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 3: Hanoi & Pagoda- Mai Chau - Hoa Binh (38 miles/60 km)
The first full day tour by bike heads to the ancient Thay and TayPhuong pagoda, built in 8th century, located in the northern countryside. From there, you continue for the last 31 miles (50 km) of the route to the village of Mai Chau. After lunch at local restaurant, you can relax in Mai Chau.
Overnight in the homestay of white Thai ethnic (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 4: Mai Chau and surroundings- Hanoi (32 miles/50 km)
After breakfast, you ride to visit the foggy scenery of the beautiful west region of Vietnam. Enjoy some trekking along the trails and a picnic lunch. You then return to the homestay to check out and leave for Hanoi.
Overnight in Hanoi (breakfast and lunch included, dinner on your own)
Day 5: Hanoi - Halong, Cruise in Ha Long Bay
Itinerary for today:
8:00 AM - Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi; depart to Halong Bay.
11:30 AM - Arrive Halong. Following check-in, have lunch on board and start fantastic cruise in Ha Long bay, where you will visit Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, Dog Island, Sail Island, Sung Sot Cave. There will be time for a swim at Soi Sim Beach or Titov Beach.
5:30 PM - Relax and enjoy the sunset.
7:00 PM - Enjoy dinner on board.
9:00 PM - Fishing or relaxing on board.
There will be time after the visit to the Sung Sot Cave to enjoy a beautiful kayaking route from Titov beach to Luon Cave (or from Bo Nau cave, to Soi Sim beach to TiTov).
Overnight on board the Huong Hai Junk (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 6: Halong- Hanoi- Hue
7:30 AM - Sunrise with coffee, tea or milk.
8:00 AM - Visit Luon Cave on small bamboo boat, then cruise pass so you can have a look at Man's Head Island and Tortoise Island.
9:00 AM - Arrange luggage and check-out.
9:30 AM - Set brunch (breakfast and lunch).
11:30 AM - Arrive to the Halong wharf.
In the late afternoon, you will head back to Hanoi and enjoy a Water Puppet Show at Thang Long theater. After an early dinner, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Hue.
Overnight on Hue (brunch and dinner included).
Day 7: Visit Hue by Bike (18 miles/30 km)
After breakfast, you will bike to Thien Mu Pagoda following the Perfume River and visit Hue's sights including the Imperial Citadel, Mausoleums of TuDuc and KhaiDinh. You will also have free time to tour the DongBa market and TruongTien bridge.
Overnight in Hue (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 8: Hue - Hoian (80 miles/130 km)
Following breakfast at the hotel, you begin a morning bicycle ride to HoiAn ancient town via HaiVan pass (1,600 feet/500 m high). This ride has some sharp and short hills. Cycling about 50 miles (80 km) of the route on the way to Lang co beach.
Overnight in Hoi An. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day 9: Visit Hoi An by bikes (13 miles/20 km)
Enjoy a walking tour of the old streets of Hoi An, where the mix of Japanese and Chinese architecture reflects its past history as an important trading port. In the afternoon, you will cycle to CuaDai beach (3 miles/5 km).
Overnight in HoiAn (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 10: Hoi An - Danang - Hochiminh/Flight
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh(Saigon). Once in Ho Chi Minh, you will check in at hotel and take a city tour by bus. Admire the main boulevards of Old Saigon, Notre Dame Cathedral, the splendid Post Office, the bustling BenThanh market, ChoLon China town and ThienHau pagoda, followed by dinner on boat cruise.
Overnight in Saigon (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 11: Saigon – Cai Be (20 miles/32 km)
Transferring out off the busy city of Saigon, our car will drop you between My Tho and Cai Lay, where you start your adventure. Starting at small ferry, where you get rid of the bustling city, you will cycle on a beautiful country roads. Stop to try some Durian-a special fruit of the island. Another water crossing after 7km riding, now you are on Tan Qui island, this is an unspoiled part of the Mekong, people welcomes you with a big smile and saying ‘Hello’ along the way. Finish the morning ride, take a boat trip to visit Cai Be floating market. People trade their fruits from boat to boat. After lunch, enjoy another amazing ride in orchards ,through many villages, bring you deep in the Mekong delta , and finish the day at a beautiful home to stay for the night.
Overnight at Ut Trinh Home-stay.
Day 12: Cai Be - Saigon (16 miles/25 km)
The roosters will wake you up in a peaceful morning of the Mekong. Enjoy a hotel cup of Vietnamese coffee before taking a boat ride to see Cai Be floating market and local industry villages, where you can learn how to make pop rice and coconut candy. The cycle tour will take you to different parts of the Mekong, where you can see people owrking on farms and gardens. You finish your bike ride at Vinh Kim, a famous fruit center of Mekong delta. Lunch in My Tho and transfer back to Saigon by minibus. Free time to relax.
Overnight in Saigon.
Day 13: Saigon ride to Cu Chi (19 miles/30 km)
Following breakfast at hotel, at 8:00 you will bike to the famous Cu Chi tunnels about 43 miles (70 km) from Saigon, of which you will cycle about 19 miles (30 km). You return to Saigon by minibus.
Overnight in Saigon (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 14: Departure from Saigon
After breakfast at hotel, you have free time till the transfer to the airport. End of tour (breakfast included).
