Custom bike tour programs for clubs
Much like our group programs, we can customize an overseas bike tour program for your club. Offering a bike tour adventure to your bike, hiking, or ski (or supper) club, alumni association, or service organization is a great opportunity for your members – and can be a way to make money for your club. We help create the bike tour program to your specifications, and you have the option to build in a fee so the club earns revenue, too. Finally, we help you promote it to your members and community.
We try to learn as much as possible about what would appeal most to your members (destination, activities, duration, daily mileage, level of difficulty, special interests).
- Are your members recreational riders who want to explore scenic countryside and historic towns, or are they more competitive cyclists who want to experience more challenging terrain?
- Do they like to travel on their own, or do they want guides to cycle with them?
Based on your input, we then develop a bicycle tour exclusively for your club. We’ll propose a few options, and when you agree that we've developed the perfect bike tour for your club, we can create promotional materials to help you sell it. Materials can include PDF brochures you can email to your members and a special tour webpage, with your logo and messages added, where everyone can book.
Prior to the bike tour, we'll email each participant a packet of information on the tour and on how to prepare—from training to packing.

Booking process
Once you decide on a program, we’ll ask the bike tour company to block space and then give us a deadline for when they’d need to have requests in. This will give everyone the chance to book without worrying whether or not there’s still space.
To book the tour, group members would go to the tour page, click on “Book this trip” at the top-right of the page, and complete and submit the online booking form (referencing your group name on the form). We can even give you text to include in an email to your club members explaining how to book.
At the deadline, or whenever everyone has booked, we submit our formal request, along with traveler list, to the tour company. When they confirm, we confirm to you and take a US$200 per person deposit. The balance is due 60 days before the tour. Get more information on booking and payments.
